Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive in Cairo.
- Meet your representative and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 — Giza, Saqqara and Memphis.
- Explore the pyramids, Sphinx and Valley Temple, then visit Saqqara's Step Pyramid and Memphis. Follow the story of royal Egypt across three distinct ancient sites.
Day 3 — Explore Cairo.
- Visit NMEC and the Citadel as part of your cultural sightseeing in the capital.
Day 4 — Fly to Aswan and join your cruise.
- Travel south on the included domestic flight and transfer to your cruise. Discover the High Dam and Philae Temple, then settle in for your first night on board. An optional Nubian village visit is separately priced.
Day 5 — Abu Simbel and the Nile.
- Visit Abu Simbel, then continue the cruise program. Sailing and temple timings follow the vessel's schedule.
Day 6 — Temples along the river.
- Continue toward Luxor with the Edfu visit and any other stops expressly included in your confirmed sailing itinerary.
Day 7 — Luxor's West Bank.
- Discover Luxor's royal tombs and monuments as you complete the cruise portion and continue with your land arrangements.
Day 8 — Luxor and onward to Hurghada.
- Explore the East Bank sights in your itinerary before the arranged transfer to the Red Sea coast.
Day 9 — Hurghada leisure day.
