Alexandria Day Trip
Journey Through Alexandria's Past and Present.
Starting from $100 per person
For the Alexandria Day Tour, your tour guide from Nefri Tours will come to your hotel. Go to Pompay's Pillar first. In the latter part of the fourth century, it was constructed as a tribute to Emperor Diocletian. It was once a magnificent structure that rivaled the Soma and Caesarean, having come from the temple of Serapis. Next, you make your way to the Catacombs, the biggest Roman cemetery, carved out of three levels of rock. Lunch at a neighborhood eatery in Alexandria, then a trip to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Qaitbay Citadel, which was constructed on the site of the ancient pharaohs of Alexandria (Light House). Eventually, you will head back to your Alexandrian lodging.
